We carved the feather across this band slowly, one barb at a time, with the same engraving tool Charles has used since before our youngest was born. It isn't fast work. It was never meant to be.
Copper has sat against people's wrists for longer than either of us has been alive, worn by folks who needed their joints to keep pace with everything else they had to do. Customers who come back to us tend to say the same thing, in their own words: they just stopped thinking about their wrists the way they used to.
